Please note:

While ritual attendance is not compulsory, if you do attend then you must participate - rituals are not spectator sports.
No intoxicating substances to be brought within the ritual space.
Attire for rituals will be whatever you feel comfortable (keeping in mind the no nudity rule). If you have robes and cloaks then by all means wear them. Street clothes are perfectly acceptable too.
Do not start any chants etc during a quiet time of the ritual. Any chanting must be initiated by the ritual facilitators - please don't be rude.
No cell phones or other electronic equipment in the ritual space please.
People work differently and it is rude to run down a ritual simply because you would have done it differently. Opinions are fine - keep them to yourself.

Opening ritual

Starts: 6pm Friday	Led by: Stephanie	Duration: Approx 30min
	Please bring a food item for offering with you to the ritual. It can be as small as you need it to be. All food donations will be passed on to the lovely people at Christchurch City Mission who are always in need of extra help.

The ritual will welcome people to the site and the festival. A little tradition, a little free wheeling. We ask people to be prompt. Please bring your non-perishable food donation with you when called to the ritual :)
