Judy Findlay

I and my family have been in N.Z. for three years, from the U.K. I lived with my family in Bournemouth on the South Coast of England, very near the New Forest, which is not new at all, it is ancient. It is a place steeped in magic and witchcraft and home to several covens. I was introduced to Wicca by my husband, 'I'm an apprentice white witch' is quite a chat up line!! We have been married 14 yrs and have studied Wicca and Hedge witch craft all this time. Prior to meeting my husband I used plants grown by me for remedies and healing and had a belief in 'spirit' and ghosts, faeries etc. but with no knowledge of witchcraft other than faery stories did not have a name for my beliefs or even realise that there were other people of similar beliefs to me. We have visited many ancient sites in Britain, Stonehenge, Avebury and others less well known and used to go to the New Forest to celebrate the major sabbats. I would like to share my knowledge of living everyday as a Hedge witch and explain how it is a way of life that is available to anyone who wishes it.

  
   

 
   

April Moray

April has travelled overseas to a variety of countries including Canada, USA, Mexico, Australia, Malaysia & India.
She is trained as a 'Conscious Breath-worker & has studied directly from Leonard Orr, Founder of Rebirthing International & Heike Strombach (also Rebirth international). She has also studied from Bob Frissell, in the Flower of life Workshops who is directly taught from Drunvalo Melchizedek himself. And other enlightened teachers.  She is the official New Zealand ambassador for the Spiritual Societies World United Organization based in India. She teaches a range of different workshops, meditation retreats, changing limited thought forms, seminars and personal one on one sessions all aimed at spiritual advancement, conscious evolution & unification. She is currently based in Diamond Harbour, Christchurch.
 
   

 
   

Luana Hemaloto
I was called to the path about 14 years ago, but it was 2 years later that I truly felt I could call myself Pagan - this is a fascinating story - not.  I'm mainly a solitary, but have done group work, and I love a feeling of community which is why through Cauldrons Debbie and I have been working on open sabbats, monthly coffee meets and the PaganFests.  I currently live in Sydney, and have just started a new position with a law firm here.
Debbie thinks I've got a decent enough voice - which is why I get to do the chanting workshop :)  Let's just say that I like music and seeing as I can't play a socially acceptable instrument (because years of recorder consorts does not count) I like to be pretentious at times and say that my voice is my instrument lol.  I do like how through chanting and toning you can raise a heck of a lot of energy in ritual. 

 
   

 
    Debbie Dawson
I have been a practising witch and psychic for over 10 years.  I have an opinion on most things pagan and I write for Cauldron's newsletter as well having articles published in various new age magazines and websites.  (this is too short so I - Luana - am going to flesh it out lol)
Debbie is accomplished at many things and including teaching a beginning paganism class.  She has worked as a solitary and in a group and has organised and run public sabbat rituals and coffee meets for many years - including the first one where she invited strangers into her home, which sparked what would later turn into the most awesome friendship between us :)
This is the third PaganFest Debbie has co-organised and run.  She is a regular at the Body Mind Spirit festivals and Holistic Expos where she does readings for the public.
